UX, UI Kit and Page Layouts

Project/scope

A global parts and manufacturing supplier needed a CX update to their existing ecommerce site. They were losing conversions, suffering site performance issues, and accessibility deficiency. We went through a design and development led process for discovery, UX research, UI design, and frontend development. Our consultative approach provided the client with a best in class accessible user first experience.

Outcome/retro

The client was able to generate a larger B2B pipeline and customer success rate by our user experience focused design. Their site maintains a consistent average 4+ star review for usability.

With the design system in place there are plans to extend the branding to the client's subsidiaries. This will reduce development time and increase consistency and accessibility across their multiple sites.

Design System

We produced an extensive design system and UI kit to create new layouts for their existing site pages. This allowed designers and developers to collaborate efficiently and consistently. The result is increased accessibility and usability for their customers and cost savings and conversions for the client.

Components & Pages

After creating the UI kit and components the hi-fidelity pages were constructed relatively straight forward from the UX wireframe designs. Designing for two breakpoints, desktop and mobile, the pages include: home, header/footer, pcp, plp, pdp, cart, checkout, search results, and various utility pages.
